Dee Koala Takes Us To Khaltsha With 4TheKhaltsha Visuals

The wait is finally over! Today , Cape Town’s isiXhosa/ ringas (slang) , femcee Dee Koala dropped the visuals for Khayelitsha’s captivating song of praise 4TheKhaltsha featuring upcoming rapper LOOKATUPS. 

The video premiered today at 5PM on YouTube after the long anticipated wait . A few months after the release of her debut album “4TheKhaltsha” which is available for streaming on all digital platforms , the “Ndanele” rapper took to the socials two 20 second snippets of the music video and the response was INSANE!! 

The catch was , Koalas first had to get Dee’s YouTube subscribers to 7784  , which is the largest township in South Africa , Khayelitsha (Also known as Khaltsha) is post code and three months later , after constant reminders and shares , her subscribers sky rocketed to 8.29K exceeding expections. 

We all know Dee for being authentic and involving the community in all her music videos and 4TheKhaltsha is no different to “Whuzet” and “Ndintswempu” ft Amilica Mezarati & SimulationRxps in terms of “keeping it real”  . She showcases her hood in a manner not many see when the name “Khayelitsha” pops ups and has swiftly brought the light of it to the eyes of the public.
