Una Rams is the leading man in the R&B/Soul genre in the region (according to me), with soothing melodies that are enticing so hearing that he will endow us with a brand new body of work was startling. Titled, hold me when it’s cold: a mixtape this body of work has a total of eight songs and eight collaborations ranging from Mizo Phyll, Langa Mavuso, Lucille Slade and Blxckie just to list a few.

You know it’s cold outside, I wanna hold you tight, Who else gon’ love you right? Pick up your phone tonight.” I never thought I would hear the 21-year-old trap power house Sihle Sithole known famously as Blxckie, uSomnyama Omnyama on the same song with this sensational RnB & Soul artist, Una Rams.

Well, they just brought us an unexpected (at least to me) but exceptional collaboration with a song titled btb which is an abbreviation of “break the bed”, this song is about love making and intimacy. Both of these gentlemen use their melodic voices, one to entice and allure their lover for a session of breaking the bed on a cold night and the other one to reminisce on the day when ain’t nobody but him and her were inside that place.

On the mixtape we also get to hear Una Rams alongside the alluring Langa Mavuso on next2me which also exudes yearnings of affection and being next to a lover, Side note: if you are single and maybe lonely you might need a couple of tissues next to you after listening to this particular song. A couple of other tracks aren’t uploaded as yet but keep your eyes glued on Una’s social media accounts for updates. The entire body of work is dropping on the 27th of this month.
