Ivy Park Fall/Winter 2021 “This is My Park” Campaign.

They say, “better late than never”, After the production break it has been a bit of a drag to get back in tune, but we are definitely back. Well moving on, Mrs. Knowles-Carter dropped the long awaited second collection of her Ivy Park x Adidas partnership. The Fall/Winter 2021 collection was announced to be available exclusively on adidas.com and adidas app on October 29th and at retail on October 30th.

The second collection, known also as, “The Drip 2” has a totally different color palette from the first collection which had maroon, orange and white as the primary colors. The Drip 2 color palette leans into a different direction with the lighter colors, which is said to be a, “vivid color palette” with dark greens, baby blues, coral, nude and subtle highlight green and yellow. The inspirations from this collection are drawn from “the inner beauty, strength, resilience and energy of artists who have found their respective parks, Beyoncé and adidas celebrate remaining positive and always finding joy.”

I believe the most exciting part about an Adidas x Ivy Park drop is the packages that Beyoncé sends to her friends, her favorite creatives, artists and fans. This year we also got to see the packages from some South African artists and creatives. Busiswa received one last year and again this year which is no surprise. The other creative that received the Adidas x Ivy Park package that I know of is Nikiwe Dlova, a hair enthusiast and hair stylist that made a hair piece for Busiswa for the Black is King visual album.

To wrap things up, “where is your beast mode? What drives you? Where do your dreams lie? What is your motivation? The answer – “your park” and the second collection from Adidas x IVY PARK .
