Blood & Water is a South African Netflix original series. The second South African Netflix original series after Queen Sono. Blood & Water is centered around a high school girl named Puleng Khumalo, played by Ama Qamata who goes on a quest to investigate about her long lost sister who was abducted at birth. She officially begins her quest after being transferred to a different school, an upper class school that is described as “the jungle”, Parkhurst College, that is filled with gentry people such as Kabelo “KB” Molapo the resident “bad boy & rich kid” and not forgetting the rest of his friends.
Blood & Water is available to start streaming at 09:00AM SAST today, BUT the premier is at 08:00PM SAST on the global Netflix YouTube. The series was directed and written by the award-winning Nosipho Dumisa, Daryne Joshua and Travis Taute. You can expect many twists and turns that will keep you glued to your screens.
This South African youth series has tremendously talented cast members including Xolile Tshabalala, Sello Maake KaNcube, Cedwyl Joel & Gail Mabalane who are some of the veteran’s in the film and television industry.
