The phrase “skincare routine” is always on the tip of everyone’s tongue or on almost every Instagram caption. As much as it can be fun and exciting, it can also be a little bit frustrating. Not knowing your skin type, not knowing which products will be best for your skin and not knowing which beauty brands were ethically produced can heavily weigh on you. But I think we may have found the answer to most of these problems.
I incidentally came across a post on Twitter about a skincare brand that allured and captivated me with its packaging designed by Martin Magner.

Founded by the beauteous Amanda Du Pont in 2020, Lelive is a “clean, vegan, cruelty-free, dermatologist-approved and unisex” beauty brand made in Africa by Africa. The name is derived from Du Pont’s uncorroborated Swazi name.
“our entire range has been formulated to be kind to you and the environment.” The products ingredients are made from 95% natural and up to 5% plant-identical sourced responsibly with local ingredients being celebrated throughout our range, and our packaging (which is mostly aluminium due to its recyclability) avoids the use of plastic wherever possible. It doesn’t end there, this Lelive beauty range is fragrance + dye free, sulphate free, paraben free and to emphasize this.. it was locally made.
“good for you, good for the planet.”

“The entire range is produced in south africa, and uses 95% natural ingredients, focusing on those that are native to us, like aloe, shea, marula, and rooibos, to name a few.
we have combined our beloved local ingredients with powerful plant-identical actives garnering international acclaim like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin c, to produce a unique range that’s the best of both worlds.” – leliveafrica.com
