A lot of people, normally African parents have a generalised ideology about how men and women should behave or wear, how do we change their mindsets and break the stereotypes? Well, Thobeka Mbane recently styled and creatively directed a conceptual photography series titled “Ubuhle bendonda“ which foregrounds young black men who are in touch with their feminine side, breaking stereotypes and not conforming to toxic masculinity.
